Swindon cancel Magera contract

Swindon Town have cancelled the contract of Czech Republic international forward Lukas Magera by mutual consent.

Magera, who moved to the County Ground from Banik Ostrava last August, only managed one goal in 18 appearances for the Wiltshire outfit last season.

An official club statement read: "Lukas Magera has had his contract with Swindon Town Football Club cancelled by mutual consent."

It concluded: "The 29-year old is now free to join another club as a free agent."

Robins boss Paolo Di Canio has also made Alan Connell, Jonathan Smith, Mattia Lanzano and Lee Cox available for transfer.
