Report: Swansea plan Castaignos move

Swansea City have added FC Twente striker Lucas Castaignos to a list of potential transfer targets, according to reports.

Adding to his attacking options is expected to be a priority for Garry Monk following Wilfried Bony's move to Manchester City in January, and he is searching for forwards to compete with Bafetimbi Gomis.

According to the Daily Star, Swansea hold an interest in Anderlecht's Aleksandar Mitrovic, but they are also keeping a close eye on Castaignos.

The 22-year-old, who has scored 10 goals in 27 appearances for Twente this season, was the subject of a bid from Swansea last summer but a move never materialised.

Swansea are also likely to lose Nelson Oliverira, who is not expected to secure a permanent move to the club after joining on loan from Benfica in the winter transfer window.
