Brendan Rodgers named Manager of the Month

Swansea City boss Brendan Rodgers has been named the Barclays Manager of the Month for January.

The award concludes a positive month for Rodgers, who saw his side defeat Arsenal at the Liberty Stadium, while they also took a point from their recent encounter with Chelsea.

The Swans also won away at Aston Villa on their way to collecting seven points from a possible 12.

It is the first time that Rodgers has won the award.
