Hernandez to seek advice over thigh problem

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has revealed that winger Pablo Hernandez will seek specialist advice in a bid to cure a persistent thigh problem.

Hernandez made his first appearance in eight weeks last weekend before the injury returned this week, and Laudrup has admitted that it has become a frustrating situation for both himself and the Spaniard.

The 49-year-old told the South Wales Evening Post: "Unfortunately, there's still a problem with Pablo, on the same spot on the leg, so we will have to do some tests with him in the future because it keeps coming back.

"It's sad for all of us, first of all for him because he came on the other day and made a difference for 30 minutes. This is the second time on the same muscle so this is a setback.

"He is definitely out for the next match. We have to definitely make some general tests to see if there is something that we can do with this muscle because this is the third time."

Hernandez has made just six appearances for Swansea this season.
