Sebastian Larsson disappointed not to secure win against Swansea City

Larsson disappointed not to secure win

Sunderland midfielder Sebastian Larsson has admitted that he was disappointed with the way that his side defended Swansea City's equalising goal in their 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

The Black Cats took the lead in the first half through Jermain Defoe as he notched his second goal for the club, but Garry Monk's men earned a point when former Black Cats loanee Ki Sung-yueng found the net with a diving header.

Larsson told the club's official website: "It was a fair result; I think it was that type of game where whoever took the lead had a good chance of winning the game. In the second half we felt very comfortable and we had a fair bit of the ball.

"I don't think they really threatened us, but obviously they equalised with a very poor goal on our part and they were on the impetus after that, but we held on and it's just a shame that we conceded the way we did."

Gus Poyet's men are 14th in the Premier League following their 12th draw of the season.
