Stoke City want Aaron Lennon?

Stoke City have reportedly entered the race for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Aaron Lennon, who looks certain to leave White Hart Lane on deadline day.

The 27-year-old, who has also been strongly linked with Hull City, has struggled for first-team football at Spurs this season.

A number of clubs are believed to be interested in taking the England international on loan and according to Sky Sports News, Stoke are now firmly in that race.

Lennon has a contract with Spurs until 2016, but it is understood that he will leave at the end of the season regardless of what transpires on Monday.
