Stoke City close in on Danish goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard?

Stoke City are reportedly close to signing goalkeeper Jakob Haugaard from Danish club FC Midtjylland.

The 23-year-old has represented Denmark at Under-18 and Under-20 level, but he is yet to feature for the senior side.

Haugaard is understood to have agreed a deal with the Potters ahead of next season, according to Sky Sports News.

FC Midtjylland currently hold a commanding 12-point lead at the top of their domestic league.

Stoke continue their Premier League campaign on Saturday when they face relegated Burnley at Turf Moor.
