Stoke City want Michu?

Stoke City are reportedly interested in signing Michu from Swansea City.

The 29-year-old forward has fallen out of favour at the Liberty Stadium and it is understood that he is free to find another club.

The Spaniard scored 22 goals in his debut campaign with the Swans in 2012-13, but injuries and a loss of form saw him loaned out to Napoli last season.

According to ESPN, Stoke are looking to offer Michu a chance to resurrect his career in England, although it is unclear whether they will make a loan or permanent move for him.

Michu cost Swansea £2m when he joined from Rayo Vallecano in 2012.
