Report: Liverpool's Oussama Assaidi having medical at Stoke City

Liverpool winger Oussama Assaidi is reportedly close to making a move to Stoke City.

The 25-year-old has been touted as a possible departure from Brendan Rodgers's Reds side due to his failure to break into the first team.

While Queens Park Rangers had been considering a loan swoop for the Moroccan, it is understood that the winger is having a medical with the Potters today, according to BBC Sport.

Assaidi signed for the Merseyside outfit last summer.
