Brek Shea's loan spell at Barnsley has been extended by two months.
The Stoke City winger, who joined the Tykes on New Year's Day, will now remain at Oakwell until April 3.
He will make his third Championship start in tonight's home clash with Blackburn Rovers.
USA international Shea joined Stoke in a £2.5m deal from Major League Soccer side FC Dallas in January 2013.
He has made just five first-team appearances for the Potters.
