Charlie Adam signs contract extension with Stoke City

Stoke City midfielder Charlie Adam has announced that he has signed a new contract with the club.

The Scot had one season to run on his existing four-year deal, but it is yet to be confirmed how long the extension will keep him at the Britannia Stadium for.

"Delighted to have signed a new contract with Stoke City," he wrote on Twitter.

Stoke are yet to officially confirm Adam's new contract.
