Tony Pulis urges Stoke to push as high up the Premier League as possible.

Stoke City boss Tony Pulis has told his players to continue to push for the highest possible place in the Premier League table this season.

The Potters, who are now all but guaranteed to survive relegation, are in 14th place in the league ahead of this afternoon's action. However, Pulis insists that the club can still improve on their finish.

"We've done well, but it could get even better," he said.

"The important thing is that the team recognise that this is the business end of the season for us.

"We have to finish as high as possible in the table. It can be rewarding and help our plans moving forward."

Pulis's side travel to the Sports Direct Arena to face Newcastle United this afternoon.
