Peter Crouch hails wonder goal

Stoke City striker Peter Crouch has admitted that his volley against Manchester City was one of the best goals he has ever scored.

The goal secured a point for Stoke in a 1-1 draw with City on Saturday, and the 31-year-old also hailed the performance of the Potters.

When questioned whether it was the best goal he has ever scored, Crouch told ESPN: "Yeah, it was definitely up there, I've not seen it again but I knew as soon as it left my foot I had a good chance and I'm really pleased with the manner of the goal, and the general performance."

Stoke sit 12th in the Premier League table.
