Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron has admitted that his side made costly mistakes in their defeat to Burnley in their Premier League clash.
The Clarets earned their second win of the season as Danny Ings netted a first-half brace, which was enough to fire his side to victory, despite a strike from Jonathan Walters for the Potters.
Cameron told The Sentinel: "We're disappointed. We showed what we could do in the second half but those two goals they scored quickly in the first half were us shooting ourselves in the foot. We made a couple of mistakes.
"We were generally ok as a back four but paid the price for two mistakes. Maybe not clearing the ball, getting caught up, we were dominating possession and that hits you.
"In the second half I think they had one shot on goal. Defensively we were ok for the most part. We need to play our game and find consistency."
Stoke are 11th in the Premier League with 15 points from their 12 matches this season.
