Asmir Begovic praises "fantastic" Stoke City

Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has praised his teammates for their "fantastic performance" during Saturday's win over Arsenal in the Premier League.

The Potters earned a surprise victory at the Britannia Stadium as Jonathan Walters's second-half penalty separated the sides.

Stoke are now up to 13th place in the table, six points clear of the relegation zone.

"It was a huge win for us and it was a fantastic performance against a big team," Begovic told the club's official website.

"It's always great to get a clean sheet. I feel that one has been coming for a while, but we just haven't had the luck that we would have wanted in recent weeks.

"The commitment from the team was great and it's great to see the guys throwing their bodies on the line for the good of the team."

Stoke's Premier League campaign continues this Saturday with a trip to Norwich City.
