Stoke City are hopeful that defender Marc Wilson will be fit for Saturday's trip to Liverpool following a hamstring injury.
The 27-year-old has been sidelined for nearly three weeks after suffering the problem against Tottenham Hotspur on November 9.
However, Potters assistant coach Mark Bowen is confident that the Irishman will be available for the team's match at Anfield this weekend.
"Marc trained on Tuesday, albeit lightly, but he trained and will have more intensive training later in the week and hopefully he'll be available at the weekend," he told the club's official website.
Stoke are currently in 11th place in the Premier League table, four points adrift of the top four.
