Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron could miss weeks after picking up thigh injury

Hughes: 'Cameron out with thigh injury'

Stoke City defender Geoff Cameron is out of Tuesday's Capital One Cup game against Chelsea after suffering an injury in his side's 2-0 defeat to Watford.

Cameron came off within the first 10 minutes of the match, and manager Mark Hughes has since confirmed that the USA international is suffering from a pulled thigh.

Meanwhile, Netherlands international Erik Pieters picked up his fifth booking of the season and will also miss the Chelsea clash to serve a one-match ban.

Pieters has started every game for the Potters this season, while Cameron has missed out on a starting place just once.
