Thomas Sorensen poised to travel to Euro 2012 due to Stoke City return

Sorensen's Euro hopes renewed

Stoke City goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen could be on his way to the European Championships with Denmark this summer as the shot-stopper is due to make a return to the Potters lineup.

It is believed that that 35-year-old will replace Asmir Begovic in the starting XI to face Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.

This could prove to be a boost to the Danish international, who has not played first-team football at the Britannia Stadium for two months.

Sorensen has been with the Premier League outfit since 2008.
