Iliman Ndiaye is reportedly content at Sheffield United and will not submit a transfer request, despite interest from Tottenham Hotspur, Everton and Marseille.

Iliman Ndiaye is reportedly prepared to stay at Sheffield United for the 2023-24 season despite interest from Marseille, Tottenham Hotspur and Everton.

The 23-year-old was a key part of the Blades' promotion to the Premier League last season, scoring 14 goals and assisting on 10 occasions for Paul Heckingbottom's men as they finished second behind Vincent Kompany's Burnley.

Also turning out for Senegal at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, last season was very eventful for the former Boreham Wood man, who is set to experience his first campaign as a top-flight regular at Bramall Lane.

According to the Sheffield Star, Ndiaye is not planning to submit a transfer request this summer amid interest from other Premier League outfits and across Europe.

The report claims that the attacker is content in Yorkshire and hopes to showcase his talents in England's top flight whilst playing for the newly-promoted Blades.

It is understood that the player's career advisers believe that another season at Bramall Lane - this time in the Premier League - would further increase Ndiaye's value and bargaining power when his contract expires next summer.

Sander Berge is another highly-rated United man who finds himself in a similar situation contractually, and it is said that the Norwegian is also leaning towards another term under the management of Heckingbottom despite Liverpool being named as keen admirers in the past.

The 25-year-old joined the Blades from Belgian outfit Genk in January 2020 and has since made 109 appearances for the club, scoring 15 goals and helping United to automatic promotion from the Championship last season.

Head coach Heckingbottom is reportedly keen for the club to agree fresh terms with Ndiaye ahead of their Premier League campaign kicking off in August, putting the attacker on a more lucrative contract whilst also inserting a release clause into the agreement.

Despite this, it is understood that the player's agent would prefer his client's deal at Bramall Lane to run down to its expiration, with the likes of Tottenham, Everton and Ligue 1 side Marseille said to be keeping tabs on the situation.

Spurs boss Ange Postecoglou is looking to freshen up the North Londoners' attacking options around the dynamic duo of Harry Kane and Son Heung-min, with James Maddison having already arrived from Leicester City for £40m.

Sean Dyche will be hoping to move the Toffees away from a recent history of Premier League relegation battles, and Ndiaye could provide more attacking firepower for a side who netted just 34 top-flight goals last term.

Ndiaye has featured for the Blades on 88 occasions since making his first-team debut in January 2021, scoring 22 goals across three seasons under a mixture of Chris Wilder, Slavisa Jokanovic and current boss Heckingbottom.
