Harry Kane will reportedly entertain the possibility of signing a new Tottenham Hotspur contract in the future.
With three years remaining on his existing terms, Kane was denied the chance to pursue a transfer to Manchester City during the summer transfer window.
However, while Spurs held all of the cards on that occasion, chairman Daniel Levy will acknowledge that the 28-year-old's value will only decrease unless he pens fresh terms.
According to Eurosport, the England international may be prepared to sign a new contract, providing that it comes with a release clause.
While the report adds that Levy is against inserting such options into any deal, Kane feels that it is a reasonable request given his standing at the club.
Despite their pursuit throughout July and August, it is claimed that City are now likely to look elsewhere if they attempt to bring in a new forward during 2022.
