Valencia are reportedly eyeing up Jose Mourinho as their next manager following the 58-year-old's sacking from Tottenham Hotspur.
Mourinho was axed from the North London club on Monday morning after winning just one of his final six games in charge, and his replacement Ryan Mason steered Spurs to victory in his first game against Southampton in midweek.
Celtic are supposedly hoping to lure the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss to Parkhead as they eye replacements for Neil Lennon, but a return to Spain for Mourinho has also been mooted.
According to Todofichajes, Valencia are keen to move on from Javi Gracia - who has taken just 35 points from 32 league games this term - and owner Peter Lim has already been in contact with Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes.
The ex-Spurs boss is supposedly preparing to fly to Spain in order to hold talks with the La Liga club and Lim, whom he has a good relationship with, and Mourinho is thought to be Valencia's priority target in the hotseat despite links with Granada boss Diego Martinez.
Valencia's 3-1 defeat to Osasuna on Wednesday night sees them languish in 14th spot in the La Liga rankings with six games left to play.
