Jurgen Klinsmann wants English "change of culture"

USA coach and former Germany international Jurgen Kilnsmann urges Enlish football to alter their thinking towards the game.

Jurgen Klinsmann has urged English football to embrace a "change of culture".

The USA coach believes that the England national side will not be a success until the way football is taught throughout the country drastically changes.

"[English football] basically needs a change of culture, because if you don't change the culture then you will never know the end result," BBC Sport quotes Klinsmann as saying.

"I'm a strong believer that if things don't work, then you've got to go a different way and take the risk,

"If you keep on doing what you did before, you will never have the success that you wish to have. It needs a lot of strength from the people in charge to say 'it's going to be different'."

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker scored 47 goals in 108 appearances for Germany.
