Aaron Lennon: 'Tottenham Hotspur capable of Europa League glory'

Tottenham Hotspur winger Aaron Lennon is confident that the North London outfit can go all the way and win the Europa League this season.

Tim Sherwood's men will take on Benfica in the first leg of their round-of-16 tie at White Hart Lane this evening.

"When you reach this part of the season and we're still in the competition, we want to win it," Lennon told the club's official website. "With the squad we have, I don't see why we can't.

"Benfica will be difficult opposition over the two games but we've got some great players and a talented squad. The fans are up for it, the lads are up for it - we are looking to win the competition."

Tottenham are the only Premier League contingent in the competition following Swansea City's exit in the previous round.
