Sporting Gijon 1-1 Osasuna

Sporting Gijon and Osasuna shared two goals and the spoils at El Molinon this afternoon.

Hosts Gijon took the lead into the break when midfielder Carmelo scored from close range in the 32nd minute.

Carmelo's strike looked to have given Gijon all three points until Serbian striker Dejan Lekic struck for the away side 13 minutes from time.

The result has left Gijon in the La Liga relegation zone, while Osasuna move up to eighth.
