Everton sign young Czech keeper

Everton have completed the signing of Sparta Prague goalkeeper Jindrich Stanek.

The 17-year-old, who has represented the Czech Republic at youth level, has agreed a contract at Goodison Park until the summer of 2016.

Although Stanek had been included in several matchday squads, he never featured for Sparta's senior side.

His presence will bolster the goalkeeping resource of the Toffees, who also have Tim Howard, Joel Robles, Mateusz Taudul, Mason Springthorpe and Russell Griffiths on their books.
