Vicente del Bosque wary of Dutch flair

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has said that he is not taking the Netherlands lightly ahead of their World Cup opener with Louis van Gaal's side on Friday.

The reigning world champions begin the defence of their title by clashing with Holland in a repeat of the 2010 final.

The Oranje are a heavily-changed outfit under van Gaal, however, with the likes of Robin van Persie, Arjen Robben and Wesley Sneijder poised to be involved tomorrow, Del Bosque admits that his side will need to be at their best to win.

"A lot has changed in four years," he told reporters.

"We have had a relatively stable side since 2010, but Van Gaal has stimulated them a lot and conserved the essence of Dutch football.

"We know that up front they have very dangerous players."

Friday's clash is scheduled to kick off at 8pm.
