Report: Paco Alcacer to start for Spain

Paco Alcacer could reportedly start for Spain in Monday's Euro 2016 qualifier against Macedonia.

The Valencia striker only made his first appearance for La Roja in Thursday's 1-0 friendly defeat to France, but has reportedly made a big impression in training.

Vicente del Bosque is looking for a replacement for Chelsea striker Diego Costa, who has withdrawn from the squad due to injury.

According to AS, Alcacer lined up as part of a Spain XI in training on Sunday, with the 21-year-old flanked by Pedro and David Silva, while Sergio Busquets, Koke and Cesc Fabregas made up the midfield.

Barcelona teenager Munir El-Haddadi also trained for his national team this morning.
