Southend United midfielder Gary Deegan has signed a two-year contract extension with the League One club.
The 27-year-old's previous deal with the Shrimpers expired earlier this summer.
Deegan joined Phil Brown's side before the start of last season after being released by Northampton Town.
Southend start the new campaign with a trip to Fleetwood Town on Saturday.
