Former Leeds United striker Noel Hunt misses out on a place in Southend's squad for this afternoon's League One clash with Walsall with a foot injury.

Shrimpers boss Phil Brown makes two changes from the team he put out on the opening day against Fleetwood Town last weekend, with Will Atkinson and Kevan Hurst being replaced by Gary Deegan and Joe Pigott.
