The agent for Ezequiel Schelotto has said that the Inter Milan midfielder is waiting for the Serie A club to agree his proposed move to Southampton
The 25-year-old struggled to secure a regular spot in the first team with the Italian side last season, completing just five Serie A matches.
Bruno Carpeggiani told FCInter1908.it: "We are waiting for the deal to go ahead. Yesterday I met with [Claudio] Vigorelli, who is acting as an intermediary for Southampton, and I can say that the situation is active, but whether it concludes tomorrow or whether it won't be resolved at all, I find difficult to say at the moment because we have to wait for Inter."
Schelotto has had loan spells with Sassuolo and Parma since joining Inter in 2013.
