Premier League side Southampton have put eight goals past Palamos in Spain in a pre-season friendly.

Guly do Prado bagged himself a second-half hat-trick, as the Saints ran riot after the break.

The scoring was opened as early as the 11th minute through Adam Lallana, with Jason Puncheon adding a second just three minutes later.

Morgan Schneiderlin added a third 10 minutes before the break, and the goals were not to dry up.

As well as Do Prado's hat-trick, Jay Rodriguez scored a penalty and Luke Shaw a late eighth as Southampton ended as runaway winners.
