Southampton 0-4 Udinese

Southampton have been comfortably beaten 4-0 by Serie A side Udinese in tonight's pre-season friendly at St Mary's.

The visitors took the lead after 12 minutes when Antonio Di Natale lashed in from 20 yards.

It was 2-0 with 24 minutes on the clock as Willians fired in spectacularly from long distance.

A disappointing half for the Saints was capped when Di Natale grabbed his second of the match with a smart volley.

Substitute Luis Muriel added a fourth goal for his side midway through the second half following Di Natale's assist.
