Jason Puncheon reveals that he no longer has a problem with Southampton chairman Nicola Cortese.

Southampton winger Jason Puncheon has insisted that the problems that were once present between himself and the club's chairman Nicola Cortese have been forgotten.

A falling out between the pair in January of this year appeared to have ended Puncheon's spell as a Southampton player.

However, the duo eventually reached a resolution and the 26-year-old has since become a key member of Nigel Adkins's squad.

"Me and him had talks and, as far as I'm concerned, that's all history," Puncheon told The Sun. "I am just pleased to get the chance to keep producing.

"It is all about growing and maturing as an adult and a player and I am doing that."

Puncheon joined the Saints in 2010 from Plymouth Argyle.
