Southampton keeper Fraser Forster elated with point against Chelsea

Southampton keeper Fraser Forster admits that he is elated that his side managed to earn a point from their Premier League clash against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Southampton keeper Fraser Forster has revealed his delight with his side's display as they earned a point from the Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The Blues took the lead through Diego Costa, but the Saints levelled the score minutes later from the penalty spot as Dusan Tadic beat Thibaut Courtois from 12 yards.

Jose Mourinho's men upped the ante in the second half, but the England international stopper kept the Premier League leaders at bay with a string of fine saves to secure his side a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Forster told Sky Sports News: "They really came at us in the second half. We played well in the first-half and were unfortunate to only have a penalty.

"We knew we were going to have defend and absolutely delighted to get a point. It's a great point and sets us up for the last nine games of the season."

Southampton are sixth in the Premier League table following their draw with the Blues.
