Nejc Pecnik completes Sheffield Wednesday move

Sheffield Wednesday have secured the services of Nejc Pecnik on a two-year contract.

The 26-year-old has arrived at Hillsborough following his release from Portuguese club CD Naciona earlier this summer.

Having impressed during a trial period with the Owls, Pecnik has revealed that he cannot wait to begin his career as a Wednesday player.

"Sheffield Wednesday is a club of great tradition and I am delighted to sign," he told the club's official website.

"The deal was done really quickly after a trial at the club and it was an easy agreement to make the deal.

"My goal is to show myself in a good way for Sheffield Wednesday and build on the experience I already have."

Pecnik scored two goals during his two-year stint with Naciona.
