Sheffield United bid for Forest midfielder Ben Osborn?

Sheffield United have reportedly offered £3m to sign midfielder Ben Osborn from Nottingham Forest.

Osborn scored five times in 39 appearances for Forest last season as they finished ninth in the Championship.

Newly-promoted United are keen on the 24-year-old, according to The Sun, although Forest are said to value their central midfielder at £6m.

Manager Chris Wilder has already signed Queens Park Rangers midfielder Luke Freeman and centre-half Phil Jagielka from Everton this month, while former Manchester United winger Ravel Morrison is training with the club.

The Blades are said to have made a £10m bid for Swansea striker Oli McBurnie amid rumours also linking them with a move for Neal Maupay from Brentford.
