Stephen McGinn joins Dundee on loan

Dundee have announced that they have signed Stephen McGinn on loan from Sheffield United for the remainder of the season.

The 26-year-old midfielder, who has previously had spells with Watford and St Mirren, joins his brother, Paul McGinn, at the club.

Manager Paul Hartley told the club's website: "I'm very happy to have Stephen at the club. He will give us something different and he's a player I've been impressed with every time I have seen him play."

McGinn has made just four appearances for the Blades this season, with his last game coming in November.
