How Sheffield United could line up against Aston Villa

Sports Mole takes an in-depth look at how Sheffield United could line up against Aston Villa in Wednesday's Premier League clash.

Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder is without his entire first-choice back three for Wednesday's Premier League clash with Aston Villa.

The Blades are having to make do with a makeshift defence due to the absences of John Egan, Jack O'Connell and Chris Basham.

Kean Bryan, who scored an own goal in Sunday's 2-0 loss to Liverpool, is expected to line up alongside Phil Jagielka and Ethan Ampadu against the Villans.

Wilder is also limited in terms of midfield options, with Ben Osborn the only player pushing for a recall in that department.

In attack, though, United do have the likes of Oliver Burke, Billy Sharp, Lys Mousset, Rhian Brewster, Oli McBurnie and David McGoldrick to choose from.

The latter two got the nod against Liverpool, but Wilder must surely be tempted to change things around after going three games without a goal.
