Unbeaten in each of their last eight outings, Shanghai Shenhua welcome Hebei to the Jinzhou Stadium in round nine of the Chinese Super League on Thursday.

Kim Jong-boo's side will head into the game seeking to get one over the hosts, having failed to win any of the last five meetings between the teams since July 2019.

We say: Shanghai Shenhua 2-0 Hebei

Shanghai Shenhua will fancy their chances of returning to winning ways in this one as they face a floundering Hebei side who have lost seven of their opening eight games. Jingui's side are unbeaten at home since last November and we predict that they will come away with all three points on Thursday.

Separated by just two points and one place in the top half of the Super League standings, Beijing Guoan and Meizhou Hakka square off at the Meixian Tsang Hin-chi Stadium on Thursday.

The Imperial Guards are unbeaten in their last seven outings, while the visitors will seek a third win on the trot for the first time since November.

Meizhou Hakka appears to have settled into the big leagues and will head into this matchup with renewed confidence. While they face a spirited Beijing Guoan side who are unbeaten in seven consecutive outings, we predict they will do just enough to leave with a share of the spoils.

The teams will head into Thursday's encounter looking to secure a much-needed pick-me-up having both endured a torrid run of results lately.

The hosts are aiming to pick up a third victory in four outings, while the away side set out to avoid a ninth defeat on the bounce.
