Nicolas Pareja out for four weeks

A knee injury will keep Sevilla defender Nicolas Pareja on the sidelines for one month.

Sevilla defender Nicolas Pareja has been ruled out of action for four weeks with a knee strain.

The 29-year-old, who picked up the injury in his side's 3-1 win over Espanyol at the weekend, had been expected to return for the derby against Real Betis after the international break.

However, tests have revealed that the Argentine has suffered first degree medial ligament damage, meaning that he will spend the next month on the sidelines.

Sevilla's win at Espanyol on Sunday was the first time that they had won away in La Liga for over a year.
