Scunthorpe United sign Sam Winnall

Scunthorpe United have signed former Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Sam Winnall.

The 23-year-old, who left Molineux at the end of last season, has agreed terms on a one-year contract with the League Two outfit.

Winnall, who had been linked with a number of clubs this summer, signed professional terms with Wolves in 2009, but made just one first-team appearance for them.

Winnall has become Scunthorpe's 10th summer signing.
