Crewe Alexandra boss Steve Davis wasn't happy with his side's lack of composure in front of goal during their 2-0 loss to Scunthorpe United.
The Railwaymen's manager feels that his team should have been more composed with the chances that fell their way.
"I thought we looked a bit wobbly in the early stages, we didn't really show any great composure," Davis told reporters after the final whistle.
"I thought we were brave and I counted five or six really great chances, could have been 5-5 in the end if we took our chances and they took more of theirs.
"It's frustrating [missing the chances] because we know they can change the game. It changes people's thoughts and perceptions of of the game if you can get back in it, being away from home it can put some more pressure on the home team.
"We started the second half well, had a lot of possession, created some good chances, but we have to show more composure and be more clincial."
Crewe, with one point from their first two games, travel to Coventry on Tuesday.
