Dieter Heckling has made four changes to the side that lost 4-1 to Napoli in the Europa League on Thursday night for the Bundesliga visit of Schalke 04.

Joshua Guilavogui, Daniel Caligiuri and Robin Knoche are replaced by Timm Klose, Christian Trasch and Maximilian Arnold.

Schalke manager Roberto Di Matteo also makes three changes to the side that drew 0-0 with Freiburg last weekend.

Marco Hoger serves a suspenion and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting misses out through illness, with Leroy Sane and Roman Neustadter replacing the absent pair.
