Preview: Sassuolo vs. Napoli

Sassuolo vs. Napoli

Napoli will be confident of picking up three points when they travel to Sassuolo in their Serie A match on Sunday.

After three league games without a win, Rafael Benitez's men beat AC Milan last Saturday to tighten their grip on the final Champions League qualifying spot.

Their chances of winning the league may be over as they are in third place and 13 points behind Juventus in the table, but the season could still end in silverware after they reached the Coppa Italia final in midweek courtesy of a 3-0 victory over Roma.

Meanwhile, Sassuolo were beaten by Inter Milan last weekend, as they fell to their fourth successive defeat.

They have lost nine out of their last 10 games and are 19th in the table. If results go against them, they may finish the weekend bottom of the league.

When these two teams met back in September, Sassuolo earned their first point of the season by holding Napoli to a 1-1 draw.

Sassuolo will be without the suspended Aleandro Rosi, while Francesco Acerbi, Emanuele Terranova, Marcello Gazzola and Davide Biondini are sidelined through injury.

The visitors will be missing the suspended trio of Jorginho, Gokhan Inler and Jose Callejon.
