Edgardo Bauza: 'I won't stand in Walter Kannemann's way'

San Lorenzo coach Edgardo Bauza has insisted that he will not stand in the way of Walter Kannemann should the young defender look to leave the club after the Club World Cup.

The highly-rated 23-year-old is reportedly considering a switch from Argentina to the Mexican Liga MX, with his manager stating that he will not stop the left-back if he decides to move on to pastures new.

"I never stopped the career of any of my players before. As I was a player myself, I know that if it's a good opportunity, he has to leave the club," said Bauza, according to Goal.com

"But, at the moment, I know that every player is very focused on what we are doing here. They are not going to take a step back from this, whatever the situation."

Lorenzo get their Club World Cup campaign underway when they face Auckland City in Morocco on December 17.
