Agent: 'No firm offers for Pedro Obiang'

The agent of Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang has revealed that there were no firm offers for his client in the summer.

The 21-year-old had been linked with a number of European clubs in the transfer window, but remained at the Marassi.

"There has been contact with Inter, Juventus, Napoli, Monaco and Roma, but no transfer negotiations have ever started," Jose Miguel Gonzalez told calciomercato.it.

"And Sampdoria did not receive any official offers for Pedro during the transfer window."

Obiang has a contract with the Italian club until 2017.
