Sampdoria's league fixture against Bologna this afternoon has been postponed due to bad weather conditions in Genoa.

Heavy rain and incoming storms in the city have made the game unplayable, with alerts issued over more adverse weather.

The two clubs are hopeful that the match can be rearranged for a Monday evening kickoff, although the final decision will be made by the Serie A governing body.

Sampdoria have confirmed that all tickets previously purchased will be valid for the rescheduled match.
