Max Gradel open to Saint-Etienne exit

Max Gradel open to Saint-Etienne exit

Saint-Etienne winger Max Gradel has suggested that he would be open to a move away from the club.

The 27-year-old has been linked with a return to Premier League newcomers Bournemouth, having previously played for the Cherries in the 2007-08 season on loan from Leicester City.

Gradel, who joined Saint-Etienne from Leeds United in 2011, hopes that the French side will not stand in his way if a good offer comes along.

"I still belong to Saint-Etienne. I have a two-year contract and I'm not going to clash," he told France Football.

"But it's true that I also want to look elsewhere. I need something new but if they do not agree to sell me, I could do nothing, I would return to the club."

Gradel scored 17 goals in 40 appearances in all competitions for the Ligue 1 outfit last season.
