Team News: Russia unchanged, Slovakia switch three for Group B clash at Euro 2016

Russia unchanged, Slovakia switch three

Russia have named an unchanged side to face Slovakia, while their opponents have made three alterations to the team for this afternoon's Group B clash in Lille at Euro 2016.

Much of the focus has been on the misbehaviour of Russia's fans, but matters on the pitch take centre stage today as Leonid Slutsky opts for the same XI that nabbed a 1-1 draw with England on Saturday.

Denis Glushakov was tipped as a possible starter after featuring in the final 10 minutes of the match against England in Marseille, but the midfielder has to settle for a spot on the bench.

Meanwhile, Slovakia head coach Jan Kozak has made three changes to the team that suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wales in their opening match at the weekend in Bordeaux.

Tomas Hubocan comes into the defence to replace Dusan Svento, while Viktor Pecovsky has been preferred to Patrik Hrosovsky in midfield.

Saturday's goalscorer Ondrej Duda has been thrown into the attack, which has resulted in Michal Duris stepping aside.

Russia: Akinfeev; Smolnikov, Schennikov, Ignashevich, V. Berezutski; Neustadter, Golovin; Kokorin, Shatov, Smolov; Dzyuba

Slovakia: Kozaciik; Pekarik, Skrtel, Durica, Hubocan; Kucka, Pecovsky; Mak, Hamsik, Weiss; Duda
