Roma goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont suffers fractured nose

Roma have confirmed that goalkeeper Bogdan Lobont suffered a fractured nose during last night's 1-0 win at Fiorentina.

Lobont deputised for Maarten Stekelenburg against La Viola but was forced off at half time following a nasty collision with Gonzalo Rodriguez.

The Romanian international played on for 15 minutes after the incident but despite receiving treatment, was replaced by Mauro Goicoechea at the interval.

Roma coach Aurelio Andreazzoli is now likely to be without Lobont for the remainder of this season, with Stekelenburg and Goicoechea left to fight for a starting spot.

The Giallorossi sit fifth in Serie following last night's win in Florence, their fourth victory in five matches.
